Mission Statement:

H.O.T. YOUTH is a non-profit organization paying it forward through community service, for all walks of life, to help better living conditions, for people in need by cleaning, repairing, or renovating their homes, which teaches us by experience about the relationship between sympathy and responsibility, and allows us to try to change the world one day at a time.”

Testimonies

I believe that there is a larger blessing to giving back unselfishly. H.O.T. Youth has inspired my life by just being able to take one day and give all I can to a family or person. While attending H.O.T. Youth projects, yes it looks like a lot of work, and sometimes it is, but to see the faces of the family or person when the final results are revealed, pays off so much! When people feel like there is no one to help them, that's when the glory of God steps in and tells us that it's our mission and right there that family is going to be changed forever. H.O.T. Youth has changed the way I see things in life and I am so grateful for the program and what it's teaching me.

Helping Others Together (H.O.T. Youth) is a tremendous way to reach out to the Midland Community. In my life it has helped me in several ways. It has given me the opportunity to help those in need and it has helped me to receive community service hours for scholarships for college. It has also helped me learn the quality of leadership and responsibility. H.O.T. Youth is an excellent Community Service Program.

Project Hoeppel - H.O.T. Youth is a beautiful picture of what happens when a person allows the pasome the "beautiful feet" that we are all called to be. This ministry has proved to be a blessing to my family in two ways. One just being a part of it, with working alongside teenagers and adults who desire to make a difference in others' lives. Yet also I have been a recipient of that love from a project done at my home. Their acts of love will leave you absolutely speechless.

Project Copeland - I was delighted to hear about the H.O.T. youth program and that they were coming to do some yard work that was much needed that I could not do myself. Another surprise was when they returned to scrape and paint my carport, a wonderful gift which I deeply appreciate.

Project Chinikidiadi - Marisa and I were very thankful and appreciative that H.O.T. Youth was able to help us with our yard last year.  It was a huge blessing for us.  It was a very busy time when they helped us out.  Marisa was in school and worked and I have limited ability to work on the yard do to my severe allergic reactions to almost every insect in Texas.  With our daughters first birthday coming up, we were unsure if we were going to be able to complete our yard work before her birthday. When H.O.T. Youth volunteered we felt very fortunate and very grateful.  The leaders showed up early to go over the various things that they could do and with the youths help they accomplished it days later. Marisa and I appreciated the help and enjoyed our new yard.  Thank you H.O.T. Youth!

Project Swopes - I cannot put into words the tremendous blessing the work that H.O.T. Youth did at our home. Because of health restraints it would have taken me multiple weeks to do what they were able to do in 1 day. Their unselfish expression of love for Leona & I made a lasting impact on our lives. May the Lord bless this ministry.
