Barbara
Barbara Long (President & Treasurer) - Barbara graduated from Paradise Valley Community College with her Associates Degree & currently works for CM Geothermal Enterprises, Inc. as the Executive Assistant to the President of the company where she helps manage & develop all departments.

Barbara was born in Phoenix, AZ and moved to Midland, TX fall of 2007. She is an active member of the Greenwood Baptist Church where she helps actively with the Youth Ministry. She has participated with projects associated with Midland's Children Rehabilitation Center & Make-A-Wish Foundations. Being the founder of H.O.T. Youth her main passion now is the development/growth of the Organization.

Barbara believes she has a gift of "giving." She believes in community outreach & teaching them to become stronger. Barbara's husband Brian currently assists with the H.O.T. Youth Organization as a Director & her son, Bobby, is an active member who keeps her abreast of what the Youth are experiencing today. Barbara believes our "Youth are our future" & it's such and influential time in a child's life to be involved. Barbara has learned that children not only want guidance & structure, but they want to be shown unconditional friendship & love.

When Barbara isn't developing or planning H.O.T. Youth she loves spending time with her husband & son and working on special event projects organizing, planning & executing them.

For Barbara's story how H.O.T. Youth was founded, visit the testimony page on this website.
Robin
Robin Nall (Vice President/Secretary) - Robin is a native Midlander with strong roots throughout West Texas. She is a member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she serves as a Pre-K/Kindergarten Sunday School teacher and actively participates in Children, Youth and Women’s ministry opportunities that the church sponsors. She supports local Habitat for Humanity projects and has been involved with H.O.T. Youth since its inception in 2009.

Robin has always enjoyed reaching out to her community and believes that her passion to help others exploded in 2005 when she and her husband, Trey, joined Children At Heart Ministries where they served as house parents to children age 5-18 at Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock, Texas. Robin had numerous opportunities to reach out to others during their time there. In addition to her ministry to the children they cared for, she helped to organize and provide assistance for Hurricane Katrina evacuees that had been relocated to the Austin area and spent a weekend helping to clean up a wild-fire ravaged community in West Central Texas. She has learned that most often people don’t need a hand out but rather a hand up.

When Robin isn’t planning H.O.T. Youth projects, she enjoys photography and creates custom designed cakes. You can follow her blog at www.rockincakes.blogspot.com
